You know the days where all you want to do is lay and listen to music because so much shit is going on in your life, and you don't know how to deal with it?

well, currently I am doing just that.

2 or so weeks ago, my step dad told my mother that my brothers and sister and I are basically pieces of shit, and that we are turning out to be just like my real father(in prison for rape, and multiple cases of domestic violence.) Since I was a kid I have been trying and trying to do whats right, and to make my dad proud, blah blah blah. Well, I'm done doing that, I am done calling, I am done stopping by, I am done caring. Fuck you.

One other thing, I get a call today. My 16 yr old brother is in jail for attempted manslaughter apparently. I guess my step dad was right about him. I wish there was something I could do. Fucking Dysfunctional. Fuck.

Suis La Lune - Utter silence is fragile

Like any Michigan show, or most any show rather, I always have a super good time, and usually feel pretty comfortable. But last night for lack of a better term was special. The lineup was super awesome, there were a ton of good friends, good music, and I met and talked to a lot of new people.

All the bands were Michigan bands, and usually, most people that I see don't really care as much to go out of there way to watch the same bands that they could see any other week. But I always get stoked on the bands in our scene, I honestly think Michigan has a good amount of bands doing positive things, and a ton of good people in our scene.

Under Anchor, Deathskin Razors, Great Reversals, Brink, Cloud Rat, Serpent on the Mount, and there was one more that had the drummer of cloud rat and the bass player of under anchor, and I cant for the life of me remember the name, anyways, they were an awesome ass screamo band.

Unfortunately Under Anchor is breaking up...

seriously.
I'm a bit depressed about it, but on the other hand. There are so many bands that I love and listen to on a day to day basis, get a ton of inspiration from and just really appreciate them in general and I will never have the chance the see or experience them, which is unfortunate. But it makes me so happy when i think about it, Since I've been into hardcore, Ive seen under Anchor so many times, befriended those dudes, and I'm so grateful that I had the chance to be a part of that band and sing Rorik's Lyrics along with him at so many shows. I know none of you dudes will ever read this, so the next time I see any of you guys, I am going to spill my heart, HA. But I just wanted to say thank you.

Caitlyn Bailey - Champion of the sun

For some reason I never post on here, like I should. I'm on the computer enough, but for some reason i avoid it. Maybe because I feel like no one reads it? So the effort seems pointless. So, hopefully not! With that being said, In this post I just wanted to post a couple photos that I've taken lately. Which is mainly all bands! These past two months I feel like I've been to way too many shows that I need to, and We did a week tour with our friends in Homelife, So I have a few photos of them aswell.

Alot of art Ive been doing lately has been musicaly inspired, so I also wanted to share a band that I have been listening to alot. They are a screamo band based out of the Phillipines, called Caitlyn Baily, this download includes there split with Meaning and there four song ep titles Feugo.
And I really love this photo, its probably my favorite thing about this band. haha.

Algernon Cadwallader-Motivational Song

I have alot to share in this post, my band went on a small tour and I have a ton of photos to post.
We werent planning on hitting the road, but we had a show offer in Ky with some awesome bands, so I decided to book a couple shows before and after the date. In oh, mo, etc. Well, we were not prepared at all. Our vans engine exploded in Il, so we had to resort to buying a new van, so we could make it to Missouri, and then home. On top of that, so much crazy shit happened, it felt like a dream. i dont know how im alive. I hope every tour isnt like that. haha.

We played in Lansing, Mi on sunday the 17th W/ Homelife and Balance and Composure, B&C has been a band i have been wanting to see for awhile, and i was super stoked to be able to get a few photos, and play with them the following day in Cleveland, Oh.

Our show in Bowling Green, Ky was more than amazing. We befriended some of the nicest people, and watched some amazing bands. im going to post a few of my favorites from this show aswell.

These first two are from a band called Pianos become the teeth from Baltimore, Md. If your into extremly Melodic Screamo in the midst of Portraits of Past and Lion of the North i definitely recomend giving this band a listen at http://www.myspace.com/pianosbecometheteeth






Another great band that played, is from Bg, Ky. Called Make History, another great screamo/metalcore band. Very similar to early converge, heavy and melodic a new band. but this band has so much potential, there vocalist has an amazing stage presence and does not stop moving. i was stoked to get photos of these dudes. I Create-Onset

I started this blog to share with people everything that influences me, aswell as projects that im working on, and because I have too much going on so I thought this would help me spread things out. Well, it seems sometimes im too busy to do just that. But im going to try and post more, I promise.

As I said in my previous post, we've been painting our basement, and we have been doing shows. They have been going well, I just wanted to share a couple photos of the last two shows aswell as a flier for the show coming up this weekend.

Our friends in Karloff from Ft. Wayne, Indiana will be here, aswell as Controversy from Buffalo, Ny. My band has also released our Ep, on cassette, and will be available this saturday at the show. We also have shirts, buttons and stickers. Will be available at shows. Im going to be making a big cartel account soon, so shit will be available online aswell.

I Have been anticipating seeing this band for so long. Definitely one of my favorite bands that are doing things right now. There music is very emotional, I would definitely consider them an emo band, aswell as a hardcore band. This band is not one to be missed. Take a second to listen, you wont be dissapointed.
